I, as you've probably guessed by now, am Fred. I'm a dork.

I work for the LPGA as a network engineer - which basically means I'm responsible for fixing and/or maintaining anything that runs on electricity. It's a lot of work, but it's a good job. It's (mostly) a pretty relaxed atmosphere, and the people make the job worthwhile. I used to get to travel with the tour, but with the economy the way it is these day, my travel budget disappeared faster than snow in June.

I live in Daytona Beach with my wife Amanda, right across the street from my office, actually. We just built our first house together and are still in the process of making it "ours". We have lots of kids: Gizmo (Miniature Schnauzer), Sara (Dobermann), Scuz (Maine Coon) & "B" (tabby). Both of our immediate families live nearby in the Volusia county area.

In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, reading, writing and swimming. I also like camping, fishing and hunting, although lately most of my outdoors time has been spent landscaping. I enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, action and comedy movies. I love "Family Guy" and "House".

I tend to have conservative political views, and at times, have a bit of a "survivalist" streak. If you asked me for a conversation starter I'd probably tell you the world would be a better place with more guns and less lawyers.
